Greetings Affiliates,
We are excited to share Part 2 of SIG 11's Perspectives of the ASHA Special Interest Groups! You will find that two of the articles have a technology theme. The use of technology in the professions of speech-language pathology and audiology has risen over the years and is infused in many aspects of our careers. It is changing the way we provide supervision, and these articles will address some of these changes.
I would like to thank Jennifer Ostergren, editor, for her dedication to SIG 11 over the past few years. This is her last year as editor, and we have appreciated her wisdom and ideas as a valuable committee member. We will miss you, Jennifer! That being said, we are happy to welcome Judith Brasseur as our new editor beginning in 2018! She will be joined by our new associate editor, Darlene Robke. Both have served on the SIG 11 Coordinating Committee and have extensive experience that will be invaluable to Perspectives. If you have ideas for topics that you would like to see in upcoming issues, or if you are interested in writing an article, please contact Judith Brasseur at JBrasseur@csuchico.edu.
