First, on behalf of the Coordinating Committee, I would like to welcome new and returning affiliates to SIG 14: Cultural and Linguistic Diversity. SIG 14's mission is to provide leadership and advocacy that promote best clinical practices for culturally and linguistically diverse (CLD) individuals with communication impairments and their families. The Coordinating Committee, along with volunteers on the SIG 14 Editorial Review Board and Professional Development Management (PDM) committee, work behind the scenes to advance this mission by coordinating with ASHA leadership, collaborating with other SIGs, sponsoring ASHA presentations and Webchats, and carefully selecting Perspectives themes and issues. You, the affiliates, contribute through your active engagement on our Community to identify and solve problems and by participating in our continuing education offerings. Thank you to everyone for making SIG 14 an impactful and supportive community.
