Happy New Year, everyone! I want to welcome all of our new and returning affiliates to 2017 and to Special Interest Group (SIG) 16's issue of Perspectives. I also want to introduce myself and the 2017 volunteer leaders for SIG 16. I am Lisa Keane and am returning as coordinator. SallyAnn Giess continues to serve on the Coordinating Committee, now in the role of associate coordinator. She is joined by Carol Fleming; Lisa Chattler, who is our newest member (formerly our continuing education [CE] manager); and Shannon Hall-Mills, our returning Perspectives editor. In addition, we welcome Francine Wenhardt as our professional development manager and Celeste Domsch as our assistant editor. As Gini Kelly (2016 associate coordinator) and JoAnn Wiechmann (2016 professional development manager) rotate off the committee, we want to say “Thank you!” for their dedication to school-based issues and tireless efforts on behalf of SIG 16.
