Happy New Year! Welcome to Part 1 of Perspectives for 2017! The members of the Special Interest Group (SIG) 2 Coordinating Committee have been working hard with our remarkable Editorial Review Committee and Professional Development Committee to bring you an exciting lineup of continuing education (CE) opportunities in the coming year. The topics this year include issues on aphasia and traumatic brain injury, pediatric motor speech disorders, neuroaudiology, and bilingual issues in service delivery for individuals with neurogenic communication disorders. Kudos to our hardworking Editor Angela Ciccia and her team of guest editors for 2017 (Sophia Vallia, Jenya Iuzzini, Henry Lew, and Jose Centeno) for this exciting lineup.
