Happy New Year! As is typical this time of the year, many people reflect upon their choices for the year, decide upon any changes they feel they would like to make, and determine their level of commitment to these changes. In the case here at SIG 13 Perspectives, we will be both working to review our own process and implement changes, as well as implement changes that are handed down from the National Office. As always, we welcome feedback from all of you as we continue to provide you with quality continuing education articles in a timely manner.
One of the changes that we worked to bring about last year was the inclusion of unsolicited articles in editions. It is my pleasure to share that we received several unsolicited articles last year that were included our publications; and in this edition alone, half of the articles were from unsolicited authors. We are excited that many of you have shared your evidence-based practice research and practice-based evidence treatment experiences with our readership. It is our hope that many more of you will join in sharing your passion and knowledge in the area of dysphagia with your colleagues.
