Greetings Affiliates,
It is an honor to write my first Coordinator's Column for Special Interest Group (SIG) 5, Craniofacial and Velopharyngeal Disorders. As many of you know, with the new SIG 19, Speech Science, the name and focus of SIG 5 was changed to Craniofacial and Velopharyngeal Disorders. We also have some new members of the Coordinating Committee. Kris Wilson from Texas Children's Hospital has been a Coordinating Committee member for several years and is our new associate coordinator. Amy Morgan, Shriner's Hospital for Children, and Kerry Mandulak, Pacific University, are new members of the Coordinating Committee. Jamie Perry, East Carolina University, continues as our professional development manager. Adriane Baylis, from Nationwide Children's Hospital and the Ohio State University, continues as Perspectives editor. Ann-Mari Pierotti continues to serve as our ASHA ex officio. Dennis Ruscello, West Virginia University, is our new Perspectives associate editor. The Coordinating Committee, Professional Development Committee, and Editorial Review Committee are excited to work together for all our affiliates in 2016.
